Greetings from...

...Chicago!

I'm here for a last-minute trip and I've never been here before.

Does anyone have recommendations of what to do or see?? Please share.

Thanks.

How long are you in Chicago for? Their aqarium was pretty cool. They had a dolphin show, which isn't typical for aquariums I guess. The aquarium is right up against lake Michigan, so it looked cool for the dolphin show. Millenium park has "the bean" and some cool water towers with faces. I'm not sure if they are open all year round or not though. There are also some cool shopping areas. They have a filene's basement and nordstrom rack that I used to go to a lot. I was only there for the summer doing an internship, so I'm not sure what they have this time of year. Have fun though!

There are tons of things to see in Chicago. I agree with Kristina. If you want to go the museum route, the Museum of Science and Industry was my favorite. There are also two H&M stores. One by the water tower and one on State street. Michigan Ave. Shopping is awesome, but if you are looking for more affordable stuff then you want to go to State street. If you want to do everything, the city pass is a good deal. I'm excited that you get to be there. If you come again after Mid-Jan you should stay with me! :) Of course you should get some deep dish pizza. Ben's favorite is Pizzeria Uno and I liked Giordanos. The Gino's East restaurant was a fun atmosphere, but our pizza wasn't that great. Anyway, Have fun!! I hope you like Chicago!

go to the art institute. i loved it. shopping (miracle mile & state street are good)! do you like hot dogs? go to america's dog & get the chicago dog...it's worth the gluttony. oh & if you want to be totally touristy, go to the top of the sears tower. great views & fun facts about chicago's history. i <3 chicago!
